Confession:
I really don’t know how to use my LinkdIn account. How can this help me get a job? I keep getting emails ‘congratulating’ me on being connected with someone. Like it’s a monumental event. No offense, but I don’t feel any more enhanced by the connection. Could someone please enlighten me?

Our country is missing out on good, strong, honest leadership. Our system is fatally flawed because a campaign costs so much that only the BSers can scam enough cash to run for office. From the mayor to the President, the whole process needs a complete overhaul.

NEW YEAR'S DINNER
Dinner was awesome! And I have a witness! My best friend stopped by and she tried my black eyed peas and William’s collards. Mmmmm good:) The pork roast didn’t even require a knife. Need I even comment on the garlic and cheddar biscuits? I didn’t think so. Sugar cookies for dessert? OK. I am so stuffed! Not a huge mess, but right now it looks insurmountable!

HAPPY NEW YEAR
I don’t have resolutions, I have dreams. I feel like I need to have a new job before the end of 2012. I am overdone at my current one. Same company almost 18 years. Same capacity for 13. No where to move up to and salary max reached. Add to that: it’s retail. Stress, hours, holidays. Yuk. I need to get my house in order. In all possible ways. De-clutter, paint, complete a few DIY...

Kindle Fire [update]
So, I came home from work tonight and all of the sudden, my WiFi works on the Kindle. I’ll just take the “gift” of something fixing itself. I am just now discovering the CLOUD. I am uploading my music and some pictures to the CLOUD. It takes foreverrr to upload songs to the CLOUD but, I can live with that. This could be exciting. Thinking I’m gonna like it.

I GOT A KINDLE FIRE
for Christmas!! I went to our library website, logged in under my account and checked out my forst eBook. Selection #1: Pat Benetar Between a Rock and a Hard Place, a Memoir. We had a wonderful Christmas! Got to spend most of the day with both of my kids! I love our time together. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
